How to harvest the seeds of dragon fruit:

The first point is how to harvest the seeds of dragon fruit. If you want to grow it, then here you have to take only a healthy, mature, and latest plucked dragon fruit from the plant. Now you will cut it from the center and from the center itself, scratch it gently with the help of a knife and remove all the seeds. They will come on top of your knife, which we will store and spread on a paper and let them dry for a day or two, and after that, we will plant them in the pot. In the beginning, you have to take well-drained soil, and even if the pot is small, it will be fine for you. Just take your seeds and just put soil on it and add water inside it and leave it to grow. Keep in mind that you have to keep your seedling mix in full sunlight. After some time you will start seeing small seedlings. If your fruit is absolutely healthy and fresh, then you will get a lot of it. If the fruit is not fresh and healthy, then you will get a limited number of seedling growth.

After four months, your seedlings will start looking like a dragon fruit, meaning small dragon fruits. Like and here you can identify them. If you want to continue growing your dragon fruit in this way, then pot selection is very important for that. First of all, you will have to grow the cutting, I will explain to you further how to grow it. The cutting was grown here, and it had been almost a year for this cutting, so now the time had come, friends, to shift this cutting into a bigger pot. Friends, do not forget to wear glasses because it has many thorns in the pot with your cutting. Take it, remove it and you have to take a pot of at least 18 to 20 inches. If you take a pot smaller than this, then it is possible that you will get dragon fruit. If you get it, then its size will be very small.  The height has become very long, so here it will need a stand and how to make it. If you want, grow the dragon fruit in advance, put the stand in advance or you can plant cuttings first and then do some planting. Make such a stand which has extra angles for support and at the top, you can either take a square or we have taken a circle if the circle looks a little beautiful then according to the size of the pot, you have to make such a stand. You will have to make small angles like this in the base of the pot, this will make your stand much more stable because dragon fruit becomes very heavy with time. While going upwards, this will make your pot much more stable, and your stand will also be more stable here and there. It will not move while planting the dragon fruit, keep in mind that its long string should not break at all, that is, the long branch should not break. You can put it in a stand with style or tie it with a wire and yes, the new one. Branches will grow, do not let them grow more than 1 to 2 feet because you want a compact dragon fruit and you will get more fruiting in it.

    Dragon Fruit Soil Mix:

Here friends, soil mix plays a very important role, so here you should take soil mix like this. If it is well-drained and full of nutrition, then here you have to take normal garden soil and inside it you can use vermicompost or cow dung manure. After filling the soil, keep at least 2 to 3 inches of pot empty. And just the first time you have to give watering properly and next time whenever you give watering, you have to keep in mind that watering will be very limited because our dragon fruit stores water and once your dragon fruit plant gets set, after that on the dragon fruit. Flowering will start and the time of flowering is June, friends. From October and we also started seeing flowering on our dragon fruit plant. Initially, it looks like a fruit but actually, it is a flower which gradually develops, becomes taller, and is a very beautiful flower. It turns out that there are two types of flowers in the dragon fruit plant, one which gets converted into fruit and one which remains small and dries up on its own. The bigger one will get converted into fruit. The height of our stand. The tree is around 35 to 4 feet tall and our dragon fruit has started growing on it and it has spread so well and flowering will come only at the top, so keep in mind that it is important to cut all the branches below. So, leave all the branches growing from the top of your stand and all the extra branches below, you need to cut them and this is necessary because friends, all the energy of your plant goes to the upper branches and there. Your plant also does fruiting and flowering, so below you do not have to be afraid and cut all the branches as much as they are.

    Removing Tip of Branches:

Now here friends, it is a little complicated if you want, you can remove the rest. So I didn’t do it and still, I got a lot of dragon fruits so if you want then you have to remove the tip of your plant just a month before the season, this will stop the fruit growth and your dragon fruit will concentrate on fruiting. are watering too much. If you are staying then limit the water. Seeing the dragon fruit flower is a very unique thing and this flower also grows in two to three stages, so this is its second stage. So friends, it has reached the third stage and the flower is growing further. A lot of bulge has come out, which means it is going to open at night, so be ready. Around 9:30 10 o’clock, you will get your flower blooming. Both male and female parts are available in the flower. It will be self-pollinated and this is our dragon fruit after two days which has been confirmed. Now it will convert into fruit because it has not fallen. Now here the dragon fruit plant gives flowering thrice in a year so here is our dragon fruit. Coming back to flowering again, now here it showed us multiple flower shoots. I could count around five to six here and if I paid attention for a little longer, I got around 10 but not all of them would convert into fruits.

    Dragon Fruit Fertilizer:

Here friends, as soon as we see the flower bud, we will add vermicompost to it to give energy to the plant and here you can add at least seven to eight handfuls of vermicompost or four to five handfuls of cow dung manure. If you can add, the more fertilizer you give to the plant, the healthier will be the fruits you will get. Generally, it is said that dragon fruit does not need much fertilizer but friends, you should add fertilizer, it keeps the health of the plant good and after giving fertilizer, now water it. Put that fertilizer so that it can be used further. It takes about 25 to 35 days for the dragon fruit to become a full fruit through the plant and along with that, many flower buds have also started appearing here, so as soon as we have. There will be a dragon fruit along with it we will have many flowers. Look here how big this yellow-colored flower is, it will dry up and fall, the rest of the green ones will be converted into flowers. Our dragon fruit will now turn red. This means that it is now ready for harvesting in a few days. It is slightly smaller in size than the dragon fruit found in the market because it has been grown in a pot and other dragon fruits are brought from the market. They always grow in the ground, although in a small pot it has produced a lot of flowers. Here you can pick 1 2 3 4 5 5 Two Six flowers are coming out of which some are yellow and some are green. So the green ones will get converted into dragon fruits and the yellow ones have already been sold. We have lost one fruit but never mind, we have lots of dragon fruits coming. It has been 25 days since the first flower.

Dragon fruit is ready and here we came early morning friends and here we saw two flowers, one in the front and one in the backside, meaning our Neighbor must have also enjoyed this flower show a lot and there are still two more flowers left which are about to bloom, so this means that we have near four dragon fruits and it is confirmed which is now upcoming and next morning friends again. Two flowers have bloomed and our previous flowers have now closed, so here friends you can see them in the early morning or you can go at night and see these flowers. If you see them in the early morning, they will be a little smaller in size. Now the time has come for you to finally harvest, now here you have to hold the dragon fruit and twist it so that it gets released from the dragon fruit plant but here and unfortunately a little extra power was applied from us and this dragon fruit skin came out. When it came to the side, the size is quite good and if seen from where the skin has come out, it still looks like it is of pink color but unfortunately you see for yourself, it is said that if the red color comes out from inside then it is It is very sweet but as soon as we cut it, surprisingly we got white dragon fruit and it is very sweet to eat, meaning it looks as if we have eaten rose water.   The branches of dragon fruit are very long. Therefore , you always have to keep it near a wall so that it can come and rest on that wall. Now let us quickly harvest our dragon fruit.   Now friends, there are two ways to plant the cutting. Firstly, you can grow it in a small pot or you can grow it directly in a big pot with a stand, so here I am showing you my method using it in a small pot. Take a small pot in it . Fill half the soil and press your dragon fruit in it and add soil on top and leave them for a few days and after that, you add water. These cuttings of ours showed very good results, they have grown . Keep in mind that your branches should not bend here and there, should not fall.
